We have designed optical fiber for JT-60SA.

The following picture shows the design drawing of the 792-core optical fiber for the fast charge exchange spectrometer needed to detect phase space fluctuations of ions.

The head section is tilted approximately 45 degrees.

We built a prototype to verify that it conforms to the bending ratio (R150 mm) required by the design.
